Operation Toofan 2.0 - State level Inauguration
Toofan Phase 2: Public gathering in Vettom Grama Panchayat
Various programs were organized in Vettom Grama Panchayat as part of the state-level inauguration of the second phase of 'Thoofan', the Kerala government's anti-drug initiative. Panchayat President Sakeena inaugurated the event, while Vice President Sindhu presided over the function. Secretary T. Salim delivered the welcome address. Coordinator K.I. Nasar delivered the vote of thanks. Participants included standing committee members Baisha Manoj, Alikutty Vakkayil, and Nusaiba Bhanu; police representative SI Manikandan; representatives of various political parties, elected representatives, and youth volunteers; as well as representatives from the Haritha Karma Sena, labor unions, youth organizations, and various civic collectives. The program was organized with the aim of strengthening public resistance against drug abuse and conveying the message "We are the guardians of our land" to the people.
